Savvy Sketch

I haven’t really had much time for the Savvy challenges this month…but I did manage the sketch …which was a bit challenging for me this time… anyho here ‘tis.

Chef–2 Crafty

Playing with the 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces from the Masterchef Set and the Butterfly Frames has allowed me to create this layout of my Eve Cooking Brownie Cookies… I have a confession that I did use a sketch from the Stuck! website and found inspiration in the layout Julie Winks created… even though mine doesn’t look anything like hers I like to give credit where credit is due…

a lil’ somethin’

This Saturday 28th May 19:30 AEST we are having a sale for our new release…which is sooo cute… yellow and black denim…

I have been playing with some of the a lil’ somethin’s we have made and here is a layout I whipped up…and I say that because it literally took me 35 minutes…which is unheard of for me …but everything was already coordinated so it came together really easily.

All the items on the page will be available on Saturday with exception of the banner as it is a variation of what we are selling…mine is made up of scraps. However other super cute banners will be on sale…

on my layout I have used: yellow tickets, polka dot cogs, yellow cord cogs, mixed flags, banner, ribbon, yellow hessian, kraft tag and mixed hearts… hope it has given you a little bit of inspiration on how to use a lil’ somethin’ on your pages.

Kraft It Up had requirements right up my street this month…no patterned paper…here is my take on the criteria …

2 Crafty

I have tried a little bit of whimsy on this layout…not sure if I like it but it gave me a fabulous opportunity to use these cute Chipboard pieces. Just realised I have already scrapped this photo…lol never do that.

On the layout the 2 Crafty chipboard featured are:

Hedgehogs, Mixed Leaves, ATC Picket Fence and Butterflies.

My New Venture

A lot of my scrappy friends already know that my sister Wendy and I have gone a little adventure and decided to make and sell ‘boy’ inspired embellishments. We have always thought that there has been a desperate lack in the market for BOY SPECIFIC scrapping goods.

2 Crafty

This year Ash lost his first tooth and it was quite an event in our house … got this fab photo and the 2 Crafty heart banner seemed to be the perfect addition to the layout… I inked the hearts in pinecone versa ink and then doodle around the edges … tied it off in blue paper twine…and mounted it with 3d tape.

I’ve been sewing

I have had a little ho!humness about scrapping the last couple of days so on Tuesday I decided to sew the kids some cushions…they wanted owls…so after a trip to spotlight with Mum I chose some fabric and made these…

Once Upon a Sketch

Here is my take on the Once upon a sketch challenge for this week… the other criteria is to use journal spots…which I have but I chose to use my dymo on top of them for the journaling.

So I have been making some new flowers …these are made with cardstock and an old paper punch I found when tidying up… will be seeing these a bit me thinks…

2 Crafty

Today I decided to play with this amazing 2Crafty frame…I have popped it  under the photo to give the layout some dimension.The frame has a 2 toned coating of Glimmer Mist to give it some sparkle…
