"My Girl" is my take on the Creative Scrappers Sketch #47 I have kept the embellishing to an absolute minimum as the sketch was quite busy for my style.
The DT reveal showed some really different takes on the sketch it is worth a trip over to the blog to have a look see...
The photo is one of my all time favourites as it shows the love my son has for his girlfriend, Ashlee. You would not believe they are onely 4 and he is already picking out the china pattern. I guess that will change soon enough as a scrappy mum I am enjoying it while it lasts.
"hold onto your heart" is my Scrap the Boys example layout for April. the layout is inspired by and advert ...pop over and check it out. I love the paint effect ...never done this before.The photo is an oldie...of Ashton and Rob when Ash was just a bub...The little trees where from a swap.
This layout was last months Wicked Princessess Sketch. My take was a little different from the others as it was highly colour blocked (which I really struggle with)The photos are of Ashton balancing shoes on his head...quite a mean feat in itself...he wasvery proud of himself.
