What's Old is New Kits now has a challenge blog...sketches ...you don't have to use the kits to enter...here is my take on this months sketch...enter great kits to be won... What's Old is New Kits I got to play with the Moulin Rouge Kit this month...yummy ...here are my layouts for the reveal...as usual the kit is already gone. But if you like them consider subscribing...the kits are alway good and that way you secure yours (with the option of not taking it if you don't like it) Scrap the girls this month is all about the shoes...you had to draw inspiration from a picture of shoes...pretty ones at that I might add...I took the buckle and the colour in my layout...you also had to use the word shoe in your title..."shoe in" is my layout for the challenge.

Scrap the Boys this month is all about birthdays as it was Ashtons birthday at the beginning of the month I thought I better catch up last years pages before I print this years photos...lol

Sketches

This month I managed to get a few sketch challenges done ...so I was chuffed.
"things I love" is the sketch challenge on Anna's Craft Cupboard I love this store she not only is sponsoring Scrap the Boys next month but she has a fabulous prize for her sketch challenge that I was lucky enough to win last month...a massive $35 and free postage.
"my girl" is my take on this months Aussie Pub Calls Roadmaps challenge. For this one I have used an anciet pack of rubons to create a square frame around my layout. I am trying to come up with some new and creative ways to use my stash atm.

"classic fun" is my take on the sweeties sketch. This is my first month playing on this sketch blog and I must say loved this sketch. I have machine stitched the border and circle onto the cardstock to create a frame for this layout.

"batkids" is my take on the puzzle sketch for August. These photos are from our recent trip to Movieworld...Ash loved it there I think he would be happy to live with batman!!!

"bubbler" is my take on the Stuck! sketch 2 for August. These photos were also from the Qld trip White Water World.

"Fairy Good" is my take on the Stuck! Sketch #1 for August. This photo is an oldie that i found in my stash of Evie when she was only 1 ...how cute was she.

"boys work" is my take on the Savvy Scraplift for August. These photos are of the boys building the day bed in the courtyard ...check out how chuffed Ash is at being a builder.

Drama Queen is my take on this months sketch challenge...it is a bit old school...but liked how it turned out :)

"2008" is my take on Kerryns Ad Challenge...

Drastic Measures is my take on the Random Challenge which ask you to "bling" up you elements on the page ...so I used pearls on my butterflies and the alphas are glittered.

I am yet to do the scraplift so will post that later :)

"too cute when you're asleep" is my take on the White With 1 Challenge for this month. It looks like this will be the last month for white with 1 as I am unable to get sponsors. So pop over do the challenge and make the most of the great prizes we have on offer.

Long time no share :(

I have been the busiest I have ever been this month...so the old blog has been neglected a bit I am afraid...so to avoid this post being a bit on the image heavy side so I am going to post some more tomorrow :)

Here is a little bit of Christmas in July I have been trying to get some of my photos from last Christmas done before this Christmas gets here.
