Some layouts to share

Here is my take on sketch #39 over on Creative Scrappers...I loved the way the layout turned out as I don't usually do half circles ...so it was a real challenge for me...

The photos are of Ash when he fell over and hurt himself at playgroup ...it was a dress up day and he was dressed as spiderman ...so Wends said "OooooH get your camera I have the title...even superheros cry" so being a scrapping mum I got her to take the photos while I tended to my poor devasted superhero.

The papers are old "extreme boy" I love it ..and have only just gotten my head around using it.

Here is my take on Kerryn's Ad Challenge over on Scrapbook Savvy (which is for sale BTW - details on the site)

I have stuck pretty close to the adverts design and it was perfect for these photos I have had hanging around for quite some time as they are bitty.

The photo is of Ash at 18 months giving Eve's capsule a test run before she was born. He sat in and and sang "row row row" as in Row your boat. It was too cute that I remember having to take photos even though they are not that flash.

Here is my take on the sketch for February at Annas Craft Cupboard.

The title reads "so excited I think you weed a little" Ash was on the firetruck at the teddy bears picnic and the excitement was all over his body language...

The felt owl and "boy flowers" are made by my sister Wends and matches the layout beautifully.

The doodled grid is scrapjacked from Kerri West (SC V7 N12 Pg86)...loved the concept so I have "Susanized" it and used the idea...and for me its a feat as I don't doodle (apart from my multi circles)...hope this is enough credit as I can't find her blog to link...

Here is my take on the sketch over at Wicked Princesses. I love the way it turned out...at first I really struggled with the design but once I picked my photos it all seemed to flow.

The little microbead is thanks to Kells in a swap. and the alphas were donated to me by Emm...it is great having talented friends I tell you.

The photos are of my 2 angels cuddling on the front door step. I am very fortunate (ATM) that my 2 love each other and enjoy spending time together. I am sure it won't last but I can be smug for the moment at least...

Start of the month

"pool dude" is my take on sketch #37 over at Create Scrappers.

I have used older basic grey and Sassafras lass papers on the page. The embellishments are mostly from the turquoise swap on over on White With 1.

The photo is of Ashton in the new pool Christmas Day. the kids loved it and the weather was perfect for a splash around.

"Baby-E" is my example layout for this months White With 1 challenge which is all white and brads/eyelets.

There is also a few other things going on this month on White With 1 we are having an Orange Embellishment swap

Also there is a CT call...

How to apply:

Send me an email containing the following:
: a paragraph about you
: 2 new layouts using the white with 1 concept (colour choice is up to you)
: 1 layout using the February criteria
: your blog address and any online gallery you have

Application cut off is the 17th February...
"playing with a worm" is my example layout for Scrap the Boys challenge this month. The criteria is "THE GREAT OUTDOORS" and include stamping.

I have used a watermark texture stamp from Stampin' Up! and the little trees are October Afternoon and the Owl is StampIt. The papers are Basic Grey Boxer.

The photos are Ashton doing one of his favourite things in the garden...finding and playing with worms.
"Its these moments..." is my example for the Scrap the Girls challenge. This month you are required to use Empherma (which is stuff that is designed to have a purpose for no more than a day...eg. bus ticket, clothes labels etc) I have used a bingo card (Jenni Bowlin...a bit of a cheat) a ticket and a bread tie.

The papers are Basic Grey Urban Prairie and lollipop shop (the flowers) and the photo is of Eve and I(oh and Digby of course) on the swings at playgroup during the end of year Christmas party (hence the face paint). The photo was taken Kells

Valentines challenge

I am sooo excited to be setting the challenge this fortnight on Creative Scrappers and this is my example.

The challenge is to create a layout using traditional valentine elements and the topic is "the ones we love".

I have used the traditional read and heart in mine and of course the photos are of my 3 most favourite people in the whole world.

I have used the Making Memories "love story" papers too...yummy!
