Easter photo catch up

This weeks 2 Crafty reveal has given me the opportunity to scrap some of my old Easter photo before it is eggfest again…For this layout I have featured the Parisian Border simply inked in black to make it pop on this bright layout. I have also used some of the 2 Crafty Alphas also inked in black.

Skull and Crossbones

“me mateyz” is a layout that I decided to use no patterned paper just some paint effect and a novelty doily… so I was able to showcase the Skulls2 chip piece as the main feature of the layout.

I have coated the background piece in black ink and the top piece in white paint. The 2 Crafty alphas have been spritzed with Glimmer Mist to give is the same tone as the kraft cardstock.

pretty as a princess

I know cliché!!! but she really is our little princess and we love her to bits… on the layout I have used the new 2 Crafty Filigree chip piece and Crowns. I have spritzed them both with glimmermist for some “princessly” sparkle.

Canvas

This week we put our house on the market and I really wanted to pretty up a bare wall we had in the bedroom… i have damask curtains in black and white and all white linen so I though to keep it simple I would stick to the black and white colour scheme.

In my lovely stash of 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces I found these fantastic  ATC Georgian Frames that look like damask which were just perfect. Added to that in the new release items I received were these stunning Corner Arches . I simply added the Love-fancy piece and some of the Butterflies to complete the selection.

To create the canvases I added a little background stamping using my favourite grid stamp from Kaiser, butterfly stamp from Urban Lily and flourish stamps by Autumn Leaves. I then inked up the chipboard pieces in a permanent black ink and glued them over the design.

Back from QLD

Well my family and I have just got back from our QLD holiday yesterday and I have been all inspired to scrap some holiday photos… these ones are actually from our last trip as I have not had the ones from this trip done yet…

The kids loved meeting the superheros at Movieworld and I loved the colour inspiration opportunity it afforded me.

On the layout “flash” I have used 2 Crafty Alphas and Cute Cogs inked.

School Dance

Start of a new month and start of school for most kids… so I cracked out the end of year dance photos.

On the layout I used 2 Crafty Punctuation in raw form and Tickets which I coloured in with markers.

Some Savvy Challenges

Played along at Scrapbook Savvy this month first layout is for Anthea’s Sketch Challenge…

The second layout “the big chill” is for Sara’s Colour Combo Challenge… I have coincidentally used the first Stuck! Sketch for Jan for this layout but have not entered it there as Savvy have a rule that the layout be exclusively for their challenge…which is fair enough… but credit to the sketch site here.

Both layout have the gorgeous chipboard embellishments from 2 Crafty where I am privileged to be on the DT and have had my contract extended for a further 3 months which I am thrilled about.

Fine Snowflakes–Susan

I know we are in the heat of summer but I received these stunning Fine Snowflakes from Vanessa at 2 Crafty and just had to do a layout with them…

The photos where taken last winter. In Tassie we get lots of snow and the kids loved the opportunity to play with it making snowmen and throwing snow balls.

To alter the chipboard I inked with a coordinating colour and them added pearls.

Scraps

So I was scrapping at Wends house and she had the most gorgeous kit from Storyboard Kits called “Giselle” …she had completed her layouts for the DT and had a few scraps left and she let me play with them …this is my layout…
