Summer is finally here

Yesterday summer well and truly hit Tassie and we had a balmy 32 … it has inspired me to do a summery layout. This is my Eve washing my car in her oh so stylish gumboots…lol at least they coordinate .

I have used the Butterfly Banners from 2 Crafty and love the effect it has given on my layout.

This is my first post for 2011 …I hope everyone had a fabulous night and saw the new year in in style…I on the other hand was predictably in bed before the fireworks began…

I have also combined my 2 Crafty layout with a challenge being run at the colour room and have used their combo and sketch …

On the layout I have included the following 2 Crafty Chip pieces…

Birdhouse and Swirly Hearts along with an alpha set…

Ok here it is …I gave it a go again last year…
My “Useful” Project … a birthday date book , accordion card keeper and coordinating card set. All the flowers and leaves and items are hand made nothing pre-fabricated as I am not a product scrapper more of a technique scrapper.

My single page…recycled item was the tag from the t-shirt being worn in the photo/s… all photos taken by me and the photo booth effect was done in PS.

Double layout… about the past… yes all the photos are of me … lol not my twin brother the memorabilia is the bookmark with the bee on it from my first year at school.

So there you go my entry …

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas full of fun, friends, family and festive cheer. I certainly enjoyed myself and relived the magic of Christmas through my children's eyes.

The layout I am sharing today has more of a summer feel to it and now I am just waiting for the weather to catch up with me

Novembers Reader Challenge–2 Crafty
